WATCH: Attorney General Bondi, HHS Secretary Kennedy Announce Seizure of Illicit Vaping Products

On September 10, 2025, Attorney General Bondi, joined by HHS Secretary Kennedy, traveled to Chicago, Illinois to announce the seizure of illicit vaping products. The seizure was a joint effort of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the U.S.

Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois, and the U.S. Marshals Service.

On that same day, pursuant to search warrants issued by Federal Courts, U.S. Marshals seized hundreds of thousands of units of illicit vaping products at locations across the United States.

Attorney General Bondi, HHS Secretary Kennedy, and FDA Commissioner Makary announce the results of a nationwide enforcement operation to seize illicit vapes.
